I love the winter, all the keeping out of the cold leads me to pick up my pens.
It's been a while... Not sure what this is but, i'll eventually do something with it. Just feels nice to be drawing again.

Today I was inspired by the rare spring sunlight and bought some lovely strawberries. They were a little under ripe but the colours made me happy. They tasted good too, sweet and sour. I will try to use these colours for something..

Taking Liberties

Liberty have some pretty cool window displays at the moment.This is an installation ad designed by illustrator/set designer Gary Card for the 'Oh!You Pretty Things' British fashion photo exhibit running on the 4th floor of Liberty until 14th March 2010,they also have the Stella McCartney Windows(below) which I thought were quite fun.






Windows in general seem to be getting better,they make the high streets a little less of an ordeal.

Maikke Love

Tonight I feel like I've seen something a little bit good, after being left feeling somewhat jaded and heavily underwhelmed by a LFW show on friday (yes it was that bad).
Maikke Mekking a London-based Dutch designer tonight abandoned the standard catwalk format,instead presenting her 2010/11 Autumn winter collection
as an intimate theatrical installation in which a lone model dressed and undressed a fairly muted capsule wardrobe with masculine denim and striking hand-stenciled prints and the occasional blast of earth tones, all to the sounds of live experimental folkiness. The whole atmosphere was one of cosy accessibility with just the right balance of loveliness and pretense. Unfortunatley I didn't catch everything, but i did get these...Enjoy!

Modus Operandi

Hello.
Just think of this as an experiment of sorts.
OH! is a space for me primarily to be as self-indulgent and creative as I like, but also to bring together all the things that inspire and influence my reality.
I'm a distracted and semi reluctant illustrator/creative dabbler based in London. Constantly stopping and starting and running away to look for new adventures.
But now I'm feeling a little more settled and ready to go.
With OH! I hope to bring together all my interests and somehow by doing this, channel my manic energy into one concise mega creative zone. This could get messy!
